I'm a Chapman University graduate with a B.A. in English Literature.
Currently writing as a guest contributor for Borgen Magazine on topics regarding global poverty and hunger with an emphasis on education and technology.
Before moving to Hawaii four years ago, I finished a publishing internship at City Lights Publishing in San Francisco.
I am familiar with all types of social media, including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and blogging, and I have experience with publication through working as an editor at a small company in Napa and my internship in San Francisco.
Before moving to Honolulu I spent a month in Thailand doing environmental volunteer work. I spent the entire time writing about my experiences. It really opened my eyes to the tourism industry and the misinformation that continues to be problematic to both native animals and the environment. I recently finished a three-month volunteer program for The Borgen Project, a wonderful non-profit organization working with US leaders to improve responses to the global poverty crisis.
Other skills include: Photography, travel, art, excellent customer service (seven years food industry experience)
